Data use & permissions
TAKN collects your name, email, age, and booking activity to run the platform, verify your MSU-IIT status, and keep sessions safe. For online sessions, the app will ask to use your camera and microphone during a call. For in-person sessions, it will ask to use your location to show nearby campus meeting spots. You can decline any permission when your device asks, though it may limit what you can do (e.g. no video during an online session).
